We are always looking for spirited volunteers!

  • We need enthousiastic volunteers to visit the Art in a Box events on a regular basis. A few times a month would be great! You can meet the children and the outreach workers and take part in the art activities. For this you don't need to speak Indonesian, although it would be great if you did.

  • We need medical professionals who want to visit the Art in a Box events on a regular basis (about once a week) and help with any medical issues the street children may have. For this you need a medical background and some free time. Indonesian would be useful, but is not essential.

  • We currently have a vacancy for an organised and experienced Project Secretary with computer skills who is willing to work about one day a week on a voluntary basis. Indonesian would be great, but is not essential.

  • We need someone who is are willing to write a weekly update on our Facebook site about the program. For this, all you need is a camera, internet access and good communication skills. You will need to visit the Art in a Box events and the BSCP Home for Girls on a regular basis, so you need to have some free time. Indonesian would be good, but is not essential.

  • We could really use a reliable accountant or bookkeeper to work one day per month on a voluntary basis. For this task, Indonesian is required.

  • We also welcome (young) volunteers wanting to help on a short-term, full-time basis, for example every day for one or two months. Accommodation can be arranged for full-time volunteers.

Please contact us if you are interested in one of these volunteering options.

We could always use materials such as:

  • Art materials (coloured and white paper, pens, crayons, paint, brushes, canvas, scissors, tape, books in Indonesian, colouring books, craft materials, wool, felt and so on)
  • (Second-hand) clothes and shoes for the street children who come to the Art in a Box events and for the girls living in the BSCP Home for Girls
  • Toys for all ages, preferably not battery-operated
  • Second-hand or new school bags
  • New exercise books with blank or ruled paper
  • Second-hand furniture, especially beds, bedding
  • Kitchenware (plates, cutlery, glasses, teacups, and so on)

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any materials you would like to donate to the Bandung Street Children Program.

4. DONATE MATERIALS!

3. VOLUNTEER AND BECOME INVOLVED IN THE BSCP ORGANISATION!
